Dog Beach
The most appropriately named beach, Dog Beach, is a great beach to take your dog. While many beaches you can take your dog and walk on leash, at Dog Beach your best friend can go off leash and run until their heart’s content. In fact, Dog Beach is the only beach in Orange County you can take your dog off leash thanks to founder Martin Senat and The Preservation Society of Huntington Dog Beach.
If you have never taken your dog to a beach, I highly recommend paying this place a visit. It is such a joy to see your dog playing in the sand and going full throttle. They will definitely run their energy out here. Dog Beach is a mile and a half stretch of sand in Huntington Beach located off Pacific Coast Highway. The beach is down a bluff protecting the four-legged friends from the busy PCH.
