Bolsa Chica State Beach
A popular state beach with a variety of activities such as surfing, sunbathing, volleyball, fishing, bird watching, and family picnics. Bolsa Chica has campsites, educational interpretative center, and a paved trail.

Hours: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM, Gates close at 9:00 PM
Parking: large parking lots. Standard day use pass is currently $15, check their website for latest rates. If you believe you will frequent this park as well as other Southern California state beaches, it would be worth looking into an annual pass (the “California Explorer” gets you a day pass to SoCal beaches as well as the rest of the state parks).
Dogs: Allowed only on trail not on the beach/sand.
